Studying Cosmic Radiation on DNA and the RockSAT-C Rocketry Competition – Smart Robots Review

Posted 7/22/2019

On this Smart Robots Review episode Elias talks to the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee RockSAT-C team lead about competing in the Midwest rocketry competition. They also discussed how the students are conducting experiments to study the effects of cosmic radiation on DNA with NASA assisted rocket launches from Wallops Flight Center.

As part of the Apollo 50th Anniversary celebration, Discovery World Museum in Milwaukee organized activities designed to educate and inspire the next generation of rocket scientists, researchers and explorers.

In the next few episodes I will be sharing with you what I saw and learned during my visit from young innovators and a startup, working on cutting edge space sciences projects.
